The Velocity STICK™ mini-anemometer is ideal for low-speed air velocity measurements in ducts and duct outlets. The only instrument in its price range to measure both air velocity and volume flow, the Velocity STICK is compact and economical. This instrument features a built-in micro-precision hot-wire sensor that fits into small openings, while its 12-inch length also makes it suitable for larger duct diameters.

Accurate Velocity MeasurementFor accurate air velocity measurement using the Velocity STICK mini-anemometer, measure in a straight part of the duct. The duct part should be straight for at least 10 x D (D = inside duct diameter) before the measurement point and 4 x D after the measurement point. Ensure that the flow profile is not disrupted by flaps, dips, or angles. |
