The 3M/Quest® Sound Examiner SE-402 Sound Meter and Detection Management Software make it simple to accurately measure noise levels in highly variable environments. The SE-402 helps to assess employee’s risk to noise levels by measuring the average sound pressure level (LEQ/LAVG) over the run-time. The instrument is able to calculate maximum, minimum, and peak levels in order to assist in the noise exposure evaluation. The Sound Examiner SE-402 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery and contains AC and DC output jacks for easy connection. Users can quickly transfer data to a PC with the USB cable or store data in the 2 MB internal memory.
